Course Description
An advanced course focusing on fundamental paradigms and evolving concepts of environmental health science, including toxicology, environmental and occupational exposure assessment, environmental epidemiology, food safety. Topics will be explored through a combination of lecture, case studies, and critical discussions of primary literature.

Course Objectives
• Exhibit a strong foundation in the core disciplines of environmental health science, including air quality, food and water quality, environmental exposure, toxicology, and management of exposures in the workplace. • Evaluate and critique emerging areas of research in environmental health science and their application to the larger public health discipline.
