- By the end of this course, students will be able to identify and name (using scientific and common names, correctly spelled) the major woody species of the Georgia Piedmont.
- By the end of this course, students will be able to identify and name (using scientific names and common names, correctly spelled) selected important woody species which are not native to the Georgia Piedmont.
- By the end of this course, students will be able to use a dichotomous key to correctly identify woody plants.
