Students will demonstrate: 1. Mastery of functional skills for the piano major 2. Ability to perform music at sight 3. Ability to harmonize melodic lines 4. Ability to improvise in a variety of styles 5. Ability to transpose simple pieces into a variety of keys 6. Knowledge of lead sheet notation 7. Ability to perform figured bass realization
