Course Description
Foundational knowledge and applied service-learning experiences
in the field of environmental education, including goals,
theory, practice and history of environmental education and the
competencies necessary to be a well-prepared environmental
educator.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students will complete a separate, additional project
specific to the service-learning context of the class. The
project will be determined by the student and instructor
consistent with needs of the service-learning community partner
and the interests of the graduate student and faculty. The
project will require a higher level of mastery of concepts in
the class and will be graded at a higher standard appropriate
for graduate students. Additional readings will also be
required.
