Environmental Biology of Fishes Laboratory


Course Description

This course presents an introductory study on the identification and taxonomy of fishes. In particular, the course emphasizes the diversity of fishes, including their morphology, anatomy, and ecology. The course emphasizes species that are commonly found in the freshwater, estuarine, and coastal habitats of Georgia.

Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students will be required to identify and catalog specimens collected during field trips.
