Course Description
This course develops intermediate proficiency in Arabic using authentic texts, deepening command of case markings, dual and feminine forms, and Verb Forms I–X. Students learn active and passive participles and build a Grammar Portfolio that consolidates core grammar. The course directly continues Intermediate Standard Arabic I.

- Students will be able to participate in spontaneous everyday conversations, discuss personal topics, describe experiences, and express daily needs using a variety of practiced words, phrases, and sentence structures.
- Students will be able to listen, understand, and respond to authentic spoken Arabic in everyday situations, handle simple requests, and comprehend non-complicated news stories or films in Arabic.
- Students will be able to read and comprehend longer texts and use an Arabic-English dictionary.
- Students will be able to form both simple and more complex written sentences using a variety of grammatical structures, including passive voice, and write simple essays.
