Course Objectives
1. Analyze emergency management-related causes and effects of large-scale disasters. 2. Examine the impacts previous disasters have had on the field of disaster and emergency management. 3. Critique a disaster management concept and how the concept was or was not executed during 3 different disaster events – 1 natural disaster, 1 man-made disaster, and 1 terrorist event.
