Course Objectives

Identification and examination of the salient structural similarities and differences between German and English. Understanding of potential errors and difficulties resulting from linguistic divergence between the learner's native language and the target language. Intended to provide future teachers of German with a basic knowledge of grammatical differences between English and German.
