Course Objectives
1. To understand what it means to be an I-O Psychologist. 2. To develop an awareness of the history and major perspectives underlying and driving the field. 3. To develop an understanding of how theory and research is applied to work settings. 4. To develop critical thinking skills about research and the practice of I-O Psychology. 5. To develop an understanding for the potential I-O psychology has for society and organizations now and in the future.

The course will cover three broad areas: 1. Major theoretical perspectives in I-O psychology. 2. History of I-O psychology. 3. Research and practical applications of I-O psychology.
