Course Objectives
1. Covers the fundamentals of applied social science research in various areas of business. 2. Develop skills that will enable you to effectively evaluate the research of others and to design, conduct, and report on research of your own. 3. Employs both theory and data in an effort to describe, explain, predict, and/or influence some phenomenon of interest. 4. Focus on theory development, construct measurement, research methods, and research critiques as part of an integrated sequence. 5. Emphasis on both conceptual understanding and the development of practical "how to" skills. 6. In this course we would like to provide you with flexible research skills that will help you to meet the challenges you will face as a practitioner.

The course will cover four broad areas: 1. Conducting and interpreting statistical analyses. 2. Communicating and reporting results of statistical analyses. 3. Use of theory to guide statistical analyses. 4. Practical applications of research skills.
