Course Objectives
1. Understand the legal process involving employment law. 2. Know how to write a job description and conduct a job analysis. 3. Know how to conduct a job evaluation. 4. Know how to conduct an effective job interview. 5. Understand the employee selection process. 6. Know how to create a performance appraisal instrument. 7. Know how to administer a performance evaluation system. 8. Understand the principles associated with sexual harassment, Title IV, EEOC, Adverse Impact, and Affirmative Action. 9. Describe an effective employee testing program.

The course will cover four broad areas: 1. Legal process and requirements pertaining to human resource management. 2. Foundations of talent management. 3. Understanding the employee selection process. 4. Development and management of valid selection systems.
