Methods and field experience for music education majors. Course
consists of a survey of effective teaching techniques, research
in learning, and materials, including use of technology and
multicultural materials.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students: Graduate students will be required to write a research paper and
present a research project on their findings. This project
should provide specific information pertaining to pedagogical
approaches related to the teaching and learning of public
school students that are being discussed in the course.

Students will demonstrate performance competency in singing and on recorder, guitar, autoharp, and other classroom instruments.
