Course Description
A project-oriented laboratory experience that will focus on the
various competencies required in reporting and writing in-depth
and multi-faceted sports enterprise stories.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will learn to gather and analyze information and data.
- Students will learn to augment and overlay that with other background research and interviews.
- Students will learn to conceptualize and produce sports investigative and other enterprise projects.
- Depending upon the nature of the reporting projects chosen for the course, the students will study such topics as the business of sports, or medical or legal issues in sports.
- Students will demonstrate competency in in-depth research and reporting, data analysis and visualization, long-form writing, and multimedia reporting and story presentation.
