Course Objectives
Students will learn to design a writing plan for a long-term project. With the guidance of a faculty mentor, students will develop the skills to plan, research, and write a long-term project in narrative nonfiction.
Topical Outline
I. Designing a writing strategy for a long-form narrative. II. Writing, rewriting, and revising the narrative manuscript. III. Responding to and incorporating notes from fellow students, editors, and other readers. IV. Editing and polishing the manuscript.
