With rigorous feedback from an assigned faculty mentor, students continue to develop, draft, and revise the manuscript that will become the thesis project.

Course Objectives

Students will learn to prepare a thesis-length project. Students will emerge with greater writing sophistication and narrative engagement. Students will hone their skills at sustaining long-form narrative by revisiting writing done in the first two semesters and completing significant work on their thesis-length projects.

I. Planning and structuring the long-form narrative. II. Strategies for sustaining narrative momentum. III. Revising and rewriting a sustained narrative. IV. Critiquing one's own work.
