Course Description
Students complete the program by returning to campus for a fifth graduating residency. Students will submit their bound, completed screenplay; present a public reading from their creative work; and lead their fellow students in a craft seminar developed under the guidance of a faculty mentor.

Course Objectives
With the guidance of a faculty mentor, students will submit a completed screenplay, lead their fellow students in a craft seminar, and orally defend their final manuscript before their faculty committee.
Topical Outline
I. Submit their bound completed screenplay. II. Present a public reading from their creative work. III. Lead their fellow students in a craft seminar developed under the guidance of a faculty mentor. The seminar must be relevant to the student's work but can include interdisciplinary, theoretical, historical and industry-related elements as well. IV. Orally defend the final manuscript before the student's faculty committee.
