Supervised experiences designed to prepare the student for
involvement in the practice of financial planning, financial
counseling, financial therapy, and/or financial education.
Students provide direct assistance to members of the community
seeking financial planning assistance, or serve as consult to
ASPIRE Clinic staff, completing approximately twenty-five
direct contact hours.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students: Graduate students will complete a 10-20 page research paper or
literature review on an approved topic. Graduate students will
also provide a classroom presentation that requires an
understanding and synthesis of the selected topic that is well
beyond that required for the undergraduate students; the
presentation will be at least 20 minutes in length with at least
10 references appropriate to the topic.
