Course Description
The management of a mechanics laboratory for students preparing to teach agricultural mechanics in secondary schools. Course content will include the science of mechanical operations, the fundamentals of metal and woodworking, small engine operations, electrical applications, and safety in the mechanics laboratory.

Course Objectives
Students will: 1. Develop an understanding of the science of mechanical operations in agriculture. 2. Develop skills in creating and maintaining a safe working environment in agricultural mechanics. 3. Be able to effectively manage an agricultural mechanics laboratory. 4. Demonstrate the ability to plan, draw, and construct projects. 5. Develop an understanding of project and material management. 6. Develop abilities in solving project construction problems. 7. Develop skills in diagnosing and repairing agricultural machinery.
