Course Description
Under the supervision and approval of an advisor, students perform the duties of an internship within film, television, animation, and media. Students report to work as required by their employers, maintain a record of duties, and write a final paper summarizing their experiences and responsibilities.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students perform internships at approved venues, under
supervision of experienced working professionals and document
their responsibilities and newly acquired experiential learning
and creative skill sets.

Course Objectives
Students are provided professional mentoring and work experience in film, TV, animation, or other media-related areas. Upon receiving an internship offer, the student submits a job description and/or contract to her or his advisor for approval. Student gains valuable work experience related to course of study and submits a self-assessment report outlining the specific responsibilities and resulting new understanding of their field of study. Employers may also submit assessments of the student’s professional experience.
