Students present their research in various formats to students and faculty. Evaluations will be prepared by attendees and instructors on presentation style, slide preparation, data organization, and ability to handle and generate questions.

Course Objectives
Students will learn techniques in and practice: - public speaking - organization of research data - scientific communication to an audience with broad interest - effective mechanisms for conveying complex ideas - generating and asking questions in a public forum - providing constructive criticism to peers Evaluations will be used to guide students in improving future presentations. Students attending the presentations will become knowledgeable in the bioinformatics research being performed by their peers in the Institute. Students at all stages of their careers will participate and learn from each other with more senior students setting the example and providing the experience for more junior members.
