Course Objectives
1. Summarize what responsible conduct of research entails and processes that influence successful implementation and completion of research methods and projects. 2. Identify research proposals that are guided by behavioral theory and include appropriate research methodology. 3. Develop project goals for research study including data collection, data entry, conducting focus groups, and analyzing data. 4. Evaluate data and comprehend concepts of data cleaning, analysis and dissemination of findings. 5. Assess ethical dilemmas and identify strategies to overcome issues in scientific research. 6. Explain the importance of collaboration in public health and demonstrate application of how to work effectively with team members. 7. Design strategies to increase personal recognition in the field.
