Course Objectives
At the conclusion of the course, students will be able to: * demonstrate ability to use library research tools; * demonstrate familiarity with the content of various electronic databases for music education; * collect and analyze data on a given topic; * write a synthesis article meeting publication standards.

* Library resources and organizational research tools * Overview of database content serving music, music education, and general education * Standards for writing and reporting various types of research * Review of style manuals (APA, Chicago, etc.)
