A survey of the leading theologians of the Protestant and Catholic Reformations of the sixteenth century.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students will complete a research paper on a topic
chosen in consultation with the professor and will also be
responsible for leading one day of class discussion.

Course Objectives
Students will: (1) gain a basic understanding of the central issues and figures in the Protestant and Catholic Reformations of the sixteenth century, (2) engage in critical, analytical thinking through the discussion of the theological debates of the Reformations, and (3) develop strong writing skills through course assignments.
