- Students will critically analyze the Gospel of Mark using scholarly commentaries, identifying key themes, literary structures, and theological perspectives.
- Students will compare and contrast the Gospel of Mark with other canonical Gospels through the use of a synopsis, assessing similarities, differences, and their implications for historical and theological study.
- Students will apply diverse academic methodologies (e.g., historical-critical, literary, socio-rhetorical) to interpret the Gospel of Mark, evaluating their strengths and limitations.
