Students will be expected to understand the positions and arguments of the authors covered in the course; and they will be expected to be able to interpret and to evaluate these positions and arguments.
Topical Outline
This course has no set topic. Any advanced topic in philosophy of mind may be covered. Such advanced topics might include: I. The nature of consciousness II. Situated cognition theory III. Naturalistic theories of mind IV. Philosophical foundations of artificial intelligence V. Intentionality.
