  • Students will understand the major theories of organizational structure budget formulation and administration organizational leadership staffing practices.
  • Students will know applications of the above theories to higher education and student affairs organizations.
  • Students will understand how to identify important issues and legal parameters in selection, orientation, supervision, professional development, and performance evaluation of professional and support staff in student affairs organizations.
  • Students will understand strategies of planned change in higher education and the effects of organizational culture on higher education institutions and strategies for planned change.
