These concepts include sales and income measures, inventories and other expenses, current and fixed assets, current and long-term liabilities, and stockholders’ equity. Class sessions have been planned to allocate enough time for the understanding of important concepts and principles as well as the application of such ideas in solving practical problems and cases. Typically, the first session of each week will be devoted to the introduction of the subject matter and discussion of relevant concepts. The subsequent class meeting will then be devoted to solving problems and analyzing cases to better grasp the concepts earlier introduced.
