Course Objectives
1. Identify movements and persons prominent in the development of architecture and their major contributions to the development of the profession of architecture; 2. Identify significant works of architecture within specified time frames; 3. Describe and compare various styles or historic periods of architecture and the guiding concepts or design principles that characterized them; 4. Identify the physical resource conditions and the social, cultural, and economic conditions that shaped architecture; 5. Define various concepts, principles, techniques, or features constituting an introductory vocabulary for architecture.
