Course Description
Students will work directly with museum staff to gain experience in the museum profession. Through hands-on engagement and reflection, students will obtain a deeper understanding of the field. Approved internships can be established within a wide range of museums and in a variety of locations.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
In addition to a digital presentation required of all students,
graduate students will submit a research paper on a topic related
to their internship duties.

Course is repeatable a second time for a completely different internship. Only three hours total may be used towards the Museum Studies Certificate.
