Course Description
Medication use from a systems perspective and strategies to improve outcomes. Personal, social, and organizational factors that affect the quality of medication use and outcomes as well as processes for evaluating medication-use systems and identifying ineffective system operations.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
A research paper is required for completion of graduate level.
This paper should be 10-15 pages in length, not including
references, double spaced, one inch margins, 12-point font. The
goal of the completion of this paper is to give students the
opportunity to explore in depth, critically analyze the
literature, and think critically about a particular healthcare
issue discussed in class or of particular interest to the student.
