Course Description

Students will build their expertise in branding and marketing for agricultural and environmental science communication. Utilizing digital design skills, students will create informational media about the agricultural and environmental science fields for the benefit of the public and industry stakeholders.

Course Objectives

Upon conclusion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Effectively communicate the story of agriculture using a variety of media technologies. 2. Strategically design multimedia products for, as well as engage with, consumer audiences on a variety of issues within the agricultural industry. 3. Analyze and critically reflect upon how various audiences perceive information regarding the agricultural industry.
