Course Description

U.S. higher education has grown stupendously over the last century, but disparity remains despite the growth. Important questions endure: Who goes to college, who completes college, and where do they do so? We will interrogate key theories and findings that shed light on the dynamics and origins of disparities in higher education outcomes. We will judge the promises and pitfalls of proposed strategies to improve and equalize these outcomes.
