- Within the context of an interactionist paradigm, students will develop an understanding of the environment on human behavior.
- Students will gain an understanding of selected theoretical approaches to the description and definition of human environments.

- Students will explore potential applications of environmental theory in a variety of educational settings.
- Students will begin designing an environmental assessment instrument or an intervention.
