Course Objectives
The course is designed to provide a broad, but rigorous, graduate level overview on organizational psychology. The goal of this course is to involve students in an intensive, thorough survey of the major theories and research areas in organizational psychology. Each week, we will cover an area in depth, explicate some major theories, reviews of select readings, and discuss some of the critical issues that have been raised with regard to theory and practice. The following is a list of course objectives: 1. Obtain exposure to a number of areas of organizational psychology 2. Gain an intellectual understanding of central concepts in organizational psychology 3. Begin to develop expertise in a domain of interest 4. Explore new research ideas
