Course Objectives
Students will: •Develop an historical perspective and understanding of the key issues and concepts relevant to the field of Learning, Design, and Technology •Describe the underlying assumptions, concepts, and principles of the learning theories discussed during the course •Compare and contrast learning theories •Describe the underlying assumptions, concepts, and principles of the research designs discussed during this course •Compare and contrast research designs •Analyze trends in learning theories and research designs in the field of Learning, Design, and Technology •Apply appropriate learning theory(ies) and research designs for their research
