Entomology seminar series offers presentations by researchers from universities and agencies studying insect molecular biology, systematics, behavior, ecology, and vector/pest management.

Student Learning Outcomes

  • The objectives are to give undergraduates a greater understanding of current topics and research in entomology and to broaden their career options.

Topical Outline

  • Weekly seminars (12 or more) are offered each semester.
  • Grading will be based 60% on attendance and 40% on two reports covering information and issues in seminars chosen by the student and submitted within the week of the seminar.
  • Reports will be submitted through eLC and graded for content and grammar.
