Course Description
Fundamental statistical tools and their use in business and economics. Goal of course is to ensure that students can select appropriate statistical tools and apply them correctly. Topics include sampling distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, inferences on two populations, and simple and multiple regression.

Course Objectives
This course will provide students with a conceptual introduction to statistics. Topics that will be covered include: data gathering, data organization and measurement, basic probability distributions, estimating, statistical inference, and regression analysis. We will stress,throughout this course, the practical application of these topics to real-life business issues.
