Course Objectives
1. To provide the students with the basic knowledge of textile fibers, yarns, fabrics, and the finishing and dyeing processes of textiles. 2. To provide the students with the basic knowledge of selection, use, and care of textiles for consumers. 3. Understand basic elements and principles of design as applied to wardrobe planning. 4. Be familiar with factors that affect selection of apparel.
