Concussion, Coma, and Cognitive Rehabilitation: The Spectrum of Care After Traumatic Brain Injury
Course Description
Traumatic brain injury (TBI) and concussion, including injury
mechanisms, demographic aspects, symptom management, and
cognitive rehabilitation. Designed to present an introduction to
TBI and factors related to recovery, with a particular focus on
return to work and educational settings after injury. Open to
juniors and seniors.

By the successful completion of this course, students will be able to describe the function of each lobe of the brain relative to various aspects of cognition.

By the successful completion of this course, students will be able to explain how professionals can collaborate to support individuals with concussion and brain injury as they return to productivity.
