Course Objectives
This capstone design course is the second in a two-semester sequence that is project-based and focused on problem-framing, stakeholder analysis, concept generation, and project management skills. The projects are designed to provide students with a major design experience in agricultural engineering prior to graduation.
Topical Outline
Design teams will continue to work independently with a faculty mentor and employ the design process, tools, and technologies to come up with a final design. The final design concept is either rapid prototyped or manufactured and evaluated against the design requirements. Student teams present their final design and prototype in a design showcase to effectively demonstrate the technical and communication skills.
