Course Objectives

By the end of the course, you will: 1. Write and speak more clearly and concisely. Give more specific, effective, concise instructions, directives, and feedback. 2. Discuss the fundamental principles of learning and their application to learning. 3. Design effective learning sequences focused on the individual learner's development of fundamental skills and thinking. 4. Create learning experiences that effectively and positively change student thinking, behavior, and performance. 5. Systematically analyze the effectiveness of your own teaching, and set goals for improvement that are evident through student success. 6. Contribute thoughtful inferences and comments about the effectiveness of your own teaching and other classmates.
