Student learning Outcomes

  • At the end of the course, students will be able to identify the key components of C3 and C4 metabolism and how it affects plant stress tolerances.
  • At the end of the course, students will be able to describe the physiological interactions that occur between pests, pesticides, and turfgrasses in the environment.
  • At the end of the course, students will be able to identify the physiological response of turfgrass species to biotic and abiotic stress.
  • At the end of the course, students will be able to describe the current improvements in turfgrass breeding and biotechnology.
