Course Objectives
The class will allow students taking it online to explore the basic components of African Traditional Religion as informative foundation and background for upper classes in ATR. It should provoke students' interest and thinking about universal values of religions from the perspective of African Traditional Religion through engagement in online instruction, discussion and essay writings, among other activities. It should broaden students' religious world views and appreciation of religions outside their immediate backgrounds, particularly in the indigenous religious traditions.
