Course Objectives
This course is designed to introduce students to the history of television programming, which may include programs and trends, industry practices, and television’s significance in U.S. society. Students will watch television, read histories of television, and write critical analyses of television that connect programming to economic and aesthetic influences and socio- cultural implications of the medium.
