Students will have an in-depth understanding of the cultural, economic, and regulatory complexities of the international/transnational media industries.
Students will expand their understanding of Hollywood as a global industry, but the focus of the course is international/transnational entertainment media industries.
By the end of the semester, students will understand media production and financing as a transnational project.
By the end of the semester, students will have a working comprehension of how key policies and business have changed and shaped the global media industries.
By the end of the semester, students will be able to identify the key global media markets and contemporary players.
