Course Objectives

This course considers the technologies of the internet and digital media, as well as explores the cultures, practices, and implications of social media and digital media use. Students will evaluate media use, analyze frames of cultural approaches to technology, apply theoretical models to the study of digital cultures, and assess the implications of the design and regulation of digital media technologies.
