Time and frequency domain analysis of linear systems, convolution, fourier series, and fourier transforms with applications.

Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: Analyze a system in the time domain Analyze a system in the frequency domain Use the software program Matlab for system simulation and analysis Use a state-space model to simulate a system Understand the transition from the time domain to the frequency domain Analyze a signal in the frequency domain

Signal and system characteristics and models convolution, continuous time signals and their spectra, time domain analysis of continuous time system, spectral analysis of continuous time systems, analysis of continuous time systems using the Laplace Transform, continuous time filters, state variables.
