Course Objectives
Students will learn how to create written and visual content for social and digital media. Students will learn how digital content affects audience engagement, shapes brands, and supports brand storytelling. They will understand the evolution of social and digital production through historical samples and will evaluate the role of social media in society. 1. Create purposeful written content for social platforms 2. Use graphic design software and other creative tools to produce compelling visual content 3. Understand the significance of social media in audience engagement and brand management 4. Analyze the role that social and digital media play in the advertising and public relations industry
