Course Objectives
By the end of the course, students will be able to: 1. Refine data collection strategy to support evolution of an action research process in its later stages. 2. Compare and contrast various qualitative and quantitative data analysis strategies as related to applied research (generally) and action research (specifically). 3. Analyze multiple types of data to effectively address the varied purposes/aims of an action research study. 4. Interpret and begin to synthesize findings of an action research project. 5. Report key findings and draw compelling conclusions. 6. Evaluate quality and rigor of data analysis.
