Course Description
Through an immersive experience with some of Morocco’s top researchers, producers, and policy makers, students will travel from the Atlas Mountains down to the Sahara Desert to conduct a comparative analysis of the current cultural and industry trends shaping agriculture, community, and organizational development in Morocco.

• Discuss historical, geographic, architectural, and linguistic considerations that inform current public policies and impact globalization. • Explain how the political, economic, and educational complexities of the country impact agriculture, community, and organizational development. • Summarize the outcomes of current farming practices and key developmental initiatives in Morocco. • Synthesize findings on a topic within agriculture, community, or organizational development into a comparative analysis of U.S. and Moroccan practices.
